He was the keynote speaker at the National Commander's Reception that took place in my hometown tonight. My buddy spotted O'neill a couple tables in front of us and said, "I'd like to shake his hand...Come on, let's go thank him for his service." And so we did. I knew he was team 6, but I didn't realize he killed Bin Laden until Linsey Graham got up to introduce him and laid it all out on the table.

I heard him give a speech at my school (less than 1.2k people) literally the day after the news broke. He didn't say he was the shooter in the speech since it was fresh news, but he alluded to it a few times and made a few jokes.
He is an EXCELLENT public speaker. I took several videos of the funny and interesting parts that are on Youtube. |
