I need tire recommendations for my 2006 Honda Accord.  What does the hive suggest?  I run snow tires on the front during the winter months and need a good, quiet all season for the non winter months.

Thanks

Firestone Precision Touring year round, even for snow.  You want to run the same tires front and back if you want your car to stay straight when braking hard on a slick surface, etc.

I've had good luck with Yoko Avids. Cheap, great handling, quiet and low tread wear.

You should really consider using snows on all 4 corners. Running them in the front only at times can be more dangerous than 4 all seasons. It can cause the ass to come out for no reason and induce a spin.

After trying a lot of tires I settled on Michelin Pilot Super Sports
The trade off in accelerated wear and noise is worth it IMO

I have Toyo Versados on 2 cars, with one being an all-wheel-drive Volvo. Wet traction in rain and snow is outstanding and the ride is very quiet. I have almost 80 Thousand miles on the tires and they have a ton of life left. They're wearing like a piece of iron! I'm going to buy a set for my Honda accord which is a 2012 model when the factory Mitchellns wear out. They currently have 40,000 miles on them now and will be done within 10,000 miles.  The Toyos are worth a look!

This. Whether your vehicle is FWD, RWD, AWD, or 4WD if you are gonna only have two good tires on the car put them in the rear. Have better traction and grip up front than you have I'm the rear is a prescription for losing control.

But not the back??

Anyway, to answer your question, I really like BFG Traction T/A... they are a good balance of grip, wear, and price.  Unfortunately, like most BFG tires in my experience, they can be a little loud at certain speeds.
