Hey All.

I live in North East PA. And I got rid of a beater car and got a 95 Eddie Bouer Bronco with the 351 in it. I am looking to get back into wheeling like I used to with my ranger. I was looking on Rough Country Lifts, and saw a 6in lift for my Bronco. Is this too big? I am looking to run 34in tires. I know 4inches in plenty but would 6 be too crazy?

What else should I look into putting on this truck. Been a while since I went wheeling,

I had a 6" superlift, 33's, 15x10's, shift kit, 4.56's, and a rear detroit on my 96' when i lived in CO.  I wheeled everything.  I wouldnt go less than 6" if your in rock/boulder country.

For me it is almost all coal silt, mud and snow obviously. Some places do have a ton of rocks. I live 40 minutes from Rausch Creek Off Road Park.

What else should I look in to?

When I was a teenager, I always wanted to lift my 88. I remember that a 6" lift was good for 35" tires. Boy, I have been itching to get another Bronco.

Swap in some 'tons before you waste any money on the TTB. They don't like lifts. Not knocking it, because they are great at stock height, with stock tires.

My dad had a Monster 79 with a 460 4 speed swap, I miss his. That what made me get this one. What size tires could I get under the stock height?

6" Pro Comp with 35 " tires.
It'll get you the clearance without being obnoxious.

Thank you. I want it to look nice and function. Not look like the high schoolers with jeeps that you need a ladder to get into.

I have that set up on my Tahoe, it steers/tracks and rides great.
Plus it's not rough on the drive line.
I went with BF Goodrich ATs.
