What does a transferable go for these days?

I wonder how much a Rhodesian Halbek compensator would help with the muzzle climb.

Looks like $17-18k for a transferrable.  I'll pass.  They're cool, but I don't think I'll ever understand the appeal of a full auto .308 battle rifle.  Semi auto, sure, but full auto just seems so impractical in that cartridge when used in such guns.  YMMV.

Limited practicality with the bipod.  The Rhodesians sometimes used two-round bursts instead of double taps when doing cover shooting, which apparently was effective when the shooter was experienced in shooting the FAL.  I suppose it could keep someone's head down and give you a ticket across the street.  That's about all I can think of.  For people like us, it's mainly just an expensive way to have some fun.
