A little while back my wife got some off brand bacon that was cheap but looked good thinking it was worth a try. It turned out to be great bacon. Last week she was at the store and they had it for $2 a pound (actual pound packages) as the date wasn't too far off, but the freezer doesn't care.
Today she was in the store again and they had a large amount of the short dated bacon of that brand for a $1 a pound. We now have 15 more pounds of it in the freezer and I wished she had got a lot more as we eat a good bit of bacon. |

Opsec. We're going back in the morning to see if we can get some more. We have plenty of room in the freezer and it will used. Quoted:

I've never seen an HEB anywhere but Texas, also never seen anything but HEB in Texas. It's like it's a state owned store or something! |

I have to do a "Health Risk Assessment" every year for my Co.'s health insurance... My Blood Pressure, Triglycerides, HDL (and LDL), and Glucose levels all improved significantly from the prior years assessment... And that was only 2 months into the Ketogenic "Diet" |
