I had a good day and I thought I would share it. Took my wife and girls to the parade, made ribs and father in law smoked brisket for supper. I'm enjoying a brew.

In this time of uncertainty and preparedness, we gotta remember the little things.

God bless and have a good rest of the weekend and great week ahead

Nice OP. Me too.

Shot a practical rifle match, went to dinner with my girlfriend, going to relax before bed and work in the morning.

Excellent.
If there was more family time, there'd be a darn sight less drama in the real world.

I've had beef brisket before, but never father in law brisket.

ETA - read it again and realized "smoked" is a verb and not an adjective for the brisket.  I'm a nincompoop.

Unless you have one of "those" families.  Glad I don't.  I had a good day as well celebrating my mom's birthday.  No pics you horn dogs---she's in her 80s.

I picked the hottest day of the year to rework the wifes flower garden, when finished I was beat. It was still a good day. Enjoy the rest of your weekend OP.
