Someone pointed out that they have gotten a bit lazy & was just carrying a pocket pistol.
I admit I've been guilty of the same. In view of current events & threat levels, I've recently went back to carrying my G19 and reloads. I't's much easier to drop the Mdl 60 in my back pocket with a speedloader in my pocket but 30 rds of 9mm trumps 10 rds of .38. Anybody else changed the way they are carrying? |

New job requires slacks and shirt, so pocket gun for me. Except on casual fridays. Then its a g30sf. Slacks and shirt doesn't prevent you from carrying a decent size gun. Any good tuckable IWB holster disappears with a tucked in shirt.....Comptac, Crossbreed, etc. G30 would be no problem at all. |

I hesitate every time I go to put my Bodyguard in my pocket, with holster of course. Part of my issue though is I have permission to carry in a off limits facility and I can have zero print or indication I am armed. Unfortunately, when I am at this place it is usually a tucked in shirt etc.
I NEED to find a better solution as I do not feel adequately armed at those times. |

S&W Model 638 Airweight and a reload for me. Sorry, I just never bought into the under-gunned with a revolver mindset. The prospect of multiple assailants makes that mindset pretty easy to "buy into." That is unless you're one of those that never misses and counts on one shot stops... |

I've used a Smartcarry to effect concealment in nonpermissive environments wearing anything from scrubs through suits. It works well with a tucked-in shirt. The draw is slightly slower than a true IWB, but the trade off is good deep concealment. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I don't even own a pocket gun. Closest I have is a G23. I've been carrying one of these since I got it. http://picturearchive.gunauction.com/4214032112/12494272/1597.jpg That's a damn nice pistol. |

After I bought an LCP, it's been hard to carry my G19/X300U. ![]() Yup, same here. I usually carry my lcp owb, but I've been trying to find a larger gun that I can conceal well owb. I've been through several gun/holster combos only to sell them off and go back to my lcp. It just disappears inside and outside the waistband. I carry it so much now that the muzzle is rusting! |

My regular carry is a P220 Carry Equinox but due to some surgery I've been pocket carrying for the last month or so.
Cargo shorts with an M&P 9c loaded with 147 grain HST, in a Desantis Nemesis, with a spare magazine on my belt and I love it. It's plenty of gun but I can't make the really long shots with it so I'm going back to the SIG as soon as I can. |

We are practically on the same page. My LCP is so light and slim while nestled in it's leather RKBA holster that it is practically unnoticeable and is so much more comfortable than several other pistols I own. I also have a PM9 as well as a Ruger LC9s. When I bought the LC9s I also ordered a BladeTech Klipt kydex IWB holster but alas I find IWB carrying so uncomfortable that I am now searching for a thin pocket holster for it. It is a tad thinner than the PM9 but to be frank unless you are wearing loose fitting pants or shorts with fairly large pockets neither are ideal for pocket carry. Perhaps after the first of the year when open carry will be legal here I might try getting some sort of OWB holster for these two 9mm's and try some pseudo concealed open carry if that makes sense to you. For the life of me I can't understand how you guys can carry a larger pistol using the IWB method and call it comfortable while bending over or getting in and out of a small compact car all day long. |

I dont mean this in a dickish way. Im genuinely curious. Some on GD would consider 100 yard pistol shots to be "medium" distance. |

Walther. 2 reloads. 7 fucking rounds in each. If they get me, use my death to go after Cuomo. On the bright side; both the terrorists and ordinary criminals, are also legally limited as to the capacity of their magazines and the sorts of firearms they can employ. That's why it's known as the SAFE Act.

Nano with extra 8 round mag. Sometimes in my pocket, sometimes IWB holster. If I need more than that I have a framing hammer in the car. ![]() Has your Nano been reliable? I have read of a couple of people that gave up on theirs but this was when they first came out. |
