30% ROI sounds pretty tempting. Are they actually worth it, and what are the chances you'll actually see the return?

The highest I saw Greece debt was yielding 25 percent last week.  I'll look around and at CDS spreads and post results.

Unless part of a larger portfolio I wouldn't touch it; rising rates will hurt.

If you want to go this route I would get into an ETF composed of US corporate debt such as JNK

They yield isn't 30% right now.  Way too high.

FYI the third picture is the JNK (Junk index) graphed compared to the S&P500.  I and others think the US large and especially small cap stocks are overvalued right now but take what you will from the graph.

You are asking us how well your car is running, but only showing us one wheel.

What is your investment horizon? (how long are you wanting to invest)
When will you need the money? Ever?
How much of your overall net worth are you considering putting into this bucket of investment?
How old are you?
How well do you handle risk?
Do you have the correct financial planning layers in place? (insurance, cash, liquidity, retirement accounts, etc)
This list goes on…

If you ask us what we think of high yield bonds, we will tell you in relation to other investments and the entirety of the financial market- not for your individual situation.
