At San Antone Lowes this morning loading my purchases into back of my 4Runner---always condition yellow in parking lots. See/Hear yelling dudes from main Lowes exit..medium Hispanic dude running toward truck parked right across from me, he was clutching somethng. Bat out of hell speed. More yelling.... Fumbles with keys, hard start on beat up Ford pickup. Me...condition red now...time dilation occurring...start bladeing at 45, hand on G42 on hip. Dude starts it, peels out.....So close....I memorize Lic Plate TX BK1-1156. Huddle with Lowes Mgr...give info to him for cops. head home....Back home....adrenaline dump in process. Thanks God for ARFcom--stay frosty. 
PS: strange.... second damn time I have been near/about robbery in last six months...last time at 7-11 I took a pix of the getaway vehicle. |

They might follow someone around, but they won't say anything unless they clearly saw him steal. What's funny is that if the guy dropped the stolen item, they would have picked it up and probably let it go at that. |

Lowes near HOU a few years ago. Me sitting in vehicle waiting for partner. Dude in sunglasses and a ball cap wearing flip flops hauling ASS with a cart full of boxes. " flap flap flap flap ". Dude throws heavy boxes into passenger side of beater ride sedan, then drives off with silver duct tape over license plate. 2 minutes later, 2 employees run out with mouths open wondering where he went with a shitload of copper house wire. Apparently he was in line to pay at the garden checkout - then bugged out with the goods. no contact - no rounds fired - no fucks given. |
