| Really dug that! However, the only issue I take with it, is the use of the laser on the crossbow guy. Predators seem to have a sense of honor (Predator Bushido code, if you will), and that seemed out of character. Even if the crossbow guy was technically using projectiles. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope they make more. |

One scene I remember from one of the books was after a group of predators attacked and destroyed a human encampment they beheaded the defenders, put their heads on pikes, and danced around a fire with them. The surviving humans were outraged, considering it a desecration. But the predators were actually showing reverence for the hopelessly outgunned defenders who at least tried to put up a fight. It was their way of paying respect. |

An Arab with a gurkha kukri? ![]() He was handed the Kukri by the Templar. I would imagine that there were battlefield pick ups and trading with Nepalese or people who had been there. It is not out of the realm of possibilities that a Templar knight had one in his possession. Granted, the oldest known Kukri is from the 1500's, but I would bet they have been around for longer than that, they are a rather useful blade style. |
