Have you seen this movie? What is the model/cal. of the revolver that some of the troops have? It is a very large revolver (flare gun?) If this is a real gun, did we really issue these to our troops? |

It's a Thunder Five, which fires 45 Colt, 45/70 or (though this is technically illegal if you load them into it, I believe) .410 shotgun shells. No, we didn't issue them to our troops and thank God...the damned things have a tendency to split their cylinder. The movie was incredibly unrealistic in almost every way and sucked badly. |

Where did you hear this? I might be wrong about that. I was under the impression that using shotgun shells in it turned it into an AOW but as I said, I might have been misled on the subject. |
