| while in a committed relationship, what is the longest you have gone without sexual intercourse (for whatever reason it may be) just curious. and where do you draw the line? |

Maybe a month? Been married 16 years.
We both work a lot but sometimes shit happens. Kids get sick.....then she gets sick. ....then I get sick...then I work some overtime, so on and so forth. Next thing you know we look at each other a say, "Hey. I think we haven't done it in about a month." We try to get get together at least once a week at minimum.

A few weeks.
A few because of illness or maybe operation recovery time. A few weeks because things were really tense due to both parties have severe disagreements about some issue or three. 
But in a committed relationship if there is not a health reason for the extended drought,and I would say past two months is a pretty damn severe drought, the two parties ought to talk it out and get past it or get along down the street in a different directions. |
| Been married 15 years. However long it was that you couldn't fuck after the kids were born. There were several BJs during that period, but no fucking. During normal times, less than a week. Well, except for the times I was gone hunting. I think the longest was 13 days. We fucked the day I left and the day I got back. However you want to figure that. |

A month isn't uncommon between what some might consider intercourse. It's been about a week since I stopped trying to see her without clothes. I got a glimps of a bra strap this morning! ... That's all of the action I'll get this weekend. I guess Father's Day is next month. I imagine I can hold out for a lights out clothes on handjob quickie until then. You know, if she's not tired.
I had real sex twice in one week back in March! Man, that was a really great month. That week made spring 2015 pretty awesome! But then I didn't get any until the very end of April. This year we didn't have sex on or anywhere near our anniversary despite my greatest anniversary date/ surprise/ present/ gift/ vacation ever! It was so much fun. It cost me a fortune and took a month to plan, but it was worth it. So I can probably look forward to not having anniversary sex from now on... If my calculations are correct, this will greatly reduce the odds of getting a real, good lay, any time in the spring next year... It's getting tough not being depressed from the lack of sex.

These threads always depress me. I have to tell myself that the people who tell these stories of the better part of a year without intimacy are still with their SO's for a reason.
Not because they are trapped in a relationship. If I would have known that my ex thought that "Sex all the time" was 3 times a month, I probably would have moved on. As it is, I would go back and undo the breakup and divorce for my kids. Sex would take a back seat, as would my pride. But that will never happen. |
