Clearly, the Republicans in Congress are causing this epidemic of train derailments.  If they would just agree to a higher level of investment in critical infrastructure, none of this would happen.

This has always made me nervous waiting for a train to go by with people behind me blocking me in.
It is always in the back of my mind, "what am I going to do if this thing details on its way by."

And we trainmen think you people who crowd the crossings are morons. We know what's going to happen if it comes off the rails. A good rule is 30 feet back from the gates and watch the oncoming cars, ready to put it in reverse.
