Hydraulic lines have a burst protection of 4x the labeled working pressure. So a 3k psi line has a burst rating of 12k psi. Plus modern machinery has transducers and cut pressure long before any kind of high pressure spike as added protection to the components. |

That is barely a concern, the operator sneezing and jerking the controls are possible though. I have heard stories of guys that do stupid shit like try to tip peoples hard hats off and things of that nature, I wouldn't be a job site with one of them. |

But that is incredible skill and takes longer than just a quick demo at the local United rentals to get that good. I can did a ditch line with an excavator to .1% slope but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. |
