More details; but this has the potential to get ugly since there is only one after market trigger that is acceptable around here. I'm not sure what more I can say. I built a new gun with a new trigger. The trigger feel is better than any thing I've ever pulled before. As far as what's acceptable here I assume your meaning a Geissle, I own a lot of them as well as Timneys. The Elf trigger is impressive IMHO. |

I had this idea 10 years ago and GD thought it was stupid. My guess is they still do. ![]() |

I'm a big fan of Geissele, but I'll say that there are other great triggers. It's all personal preference. Two people can try out the same trigger and come away with opposing views. |

Do they also make a volumizer for the AR? I need one of those. |

I wonder how needle bearings do with sand in them Guns are no longer for combat ..........they are all about looks, and how much money you can squeeze into one to impress your friends at the range. Maybe on the outside of use, you might see one or two used in playful competition. $300 is too rich for my blood. |

I've been a big G trigger fan. I used a TTU-M2 on the last gun I built. It's damn nice. I may be going this route from now on. |

This. Single stage triggers are poor for tactical use (IMHO) due to not being able to preload the trigger like you can effectively on a 2 stage or a milspec. I'm guessing if you think Elftmann is the smoothest ever then: You havent used a CMC You havent used the trigger in anywhere but a pristine environment. Triggers with ball bearings are not a good idea in dusty or muddy environments. |

All I can do is use them in the environment I live in. I'm not in a war zone or a desert so my experience is limited to carbine classes when I have time, shooting at my range, and hunting. I posted about the trigger because I liked it, sorry that I'm not a Tier 1 operator. |

I can even appreciate some of the gimmicky parts that come out for guns. New parts and designs keep the gun industry alive which means more competition and better products for lower prices. I also feel that newer designs and products help bring more new people into the shooting world which in my opinion is a good thing. |

got mine in and it's a fucking $250 paperweight. It would sometimes make the gun go boom but most of the time it doesn't. I never gotten more than two rounds fired in a row. I thought it would be a good replacement for my geissele 3gun trigger. Did you contact the manufacturer about the problem? Mine has less than 100 rounds and had zero issues but I will report back after I get a higher round count. Which trigger do you have? |

I built a new 3 gun rifle and wanted to try something other than Geissele. Add the fact that I had to purchase some kns pins on top of this non working pos just pisses me off. |
