I have 5 gigs a month of 4g lte speed data then it slows down. If I am in an area that only gets 3g speeds, does that count towards my 5 gigs before I get slowed down?
Eta: Nevermind I finally found it in the small print. I don't get 5 gigs of 4g lte, I get 5 gigs of high speed data which is 3g or 4g, then it is slowed down to 2g. Oh the horror. Mods feel free to lock |

When you log onto 3g service it is a speed at which you download. Your 5g on a smart phone is quite a bit. A full length movie is about 3gigs. Web sites are WAY less. You could surf a lot and not use it all up at 5g per month. That wasn't my question, reading comp and all. My question was will downloading data at 3g count against my 5 gigs which was advertised as 4g. However, it's not 5 gigs at 4g, it's 5 gigs at high speed, up to 4g, including 3g, then it slows down to 2g |
