I just LOVE this stuff!  I wish you didn't have to drop a TON of money on the machine to dispense it otherwise I'd buy one in a second.   I don't really love coffee,  but this stuff is insanely good.  I ordered some of their ground coffee and made it a couple different ways. ..not even close,  unfortunately.   Have you ever had it?  Know of a used machine to sell me Lol.

Every year I go to Mundelein, IL for a conference.  My favorite part is that the place we stay serves DE.  It is good coffee.  Wish they made it in kcups.

The local hospital here for has multiple machines. I haven't ever tasted it (unless I want to be awake for 36 hours) but Ive always thought it was mediocre at best. that's why they give that shit away for free at the hospitals.

Interesting- concentrated coffee? My Grandma said they used to make some kind of concentrated coffee so when you had an unexpected guest you could quickly boil some water and make a pot.  I am thinking the stuff you had must taste better!

You can buy the syrup then make your own, without the machine.

Wife loves the stuff more than she loves me!

I love it also!  I've tried the instant Pure Gold by Douwe Egberts from Amazon it's good, but it's not the same as the liquid concentrate they put in those machines! I've spent two years trying to get some. You can get it from http://douweegbertsliquidcoffee.com/ . They will mail you a box of liquid concentrate. You'll need to also order the plastic squeeze bottles. I ordered two boxes of coffee and it fit into three of the squeeze bottles. I boil water in a tea pot. Then I squeeze a tablespoon of the concentrate into my cup and pour the boiling water over it. It's liquid crack!!! You'll never go back!!! It lasts a long time too! I have 6 cups a day of it! Enjoy!

Burger King used to serve Douwe Eggbert's coffee, as well as some of the casinos.

We have it too. I keep my own stuff in my locker. Don't care for it too much.

When we lived in the Netherlands, Dowe Egberts was the only coffee we drank.

I would sit in the Sam Seltzer's Steakhouse on Tyrone Boulevard in St. Petersburg for hours drinking Douwe Egberts, I think it was the real reason I went there, hours of Douwe Egberts coffee, that stuff is crack... Thanks, now I'm on Amazon looking for a machine  MOAR!

Fuck that coffee and double fuck that machine.

2 time a day it shuts down because it wants to be cleaned, and that's with only making about 3 cups a day.

We didn't buy ours, we got it free when we agreed to buy X amount of supplies per month.
I'd have been much happier with a kurig since it would be ready to go any time without constant attention, and I could get hot chocolate cups.

Check the info from DiamondGirl above. You don't need the machine.

I wonder which is the most commonly used in the restaurants? Probably the 100% Colombian?

Ended up buying a box of the liquid from the restaurant at the airport for $50.  It's still pretty dang good, but my well water is making just a bit different.   Going to try bottled water.   The squeeze bottles look to be nothing more than a generic restaurant mustard type bottle,  no?

Can you re-freeze this stuff in smaller squeeze bottles to make it last longer...the box takes up quite a bit of room in the fridge.
