I went and saw it on Friday, pretty good movie. I haven't seen any of the other ones so now I have to go watch them. The Paul Walker tribute at the end was sad. |

Though it was the best one. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

They could not have finished the series any better I've enjoyed the film series from the beginning and watched it change from a cheese ass attempt at an action flick to a pretty badass one (albeit with some hard to believe stunts) I say end on a high note. Pretty sure I heard the next one is to be filmed I China. The FF series has always done amazing over there so they're looking to take advantage. |

I enjoyed it, I've liked all the movies a lot, this one especially. Supposedly, the parachute car scene was real! The last scene was a tear jerker, especially after spening time watching the movies. Paul Walker seems like one of those actors that is your buddy. Some rapper or talk show host or news anchor could pass and I'd never think twice about it, but hearing about Walkers death was very different. He was a cool dude on every level. Word on the street was this won't be the last FF movie in the series, I saw some blurb with Vin Diesel that there are more implied, though I don't know if they are FF or spin offs. This would have been the one to cap the series though. Hopefully any future movies are just spin offs and don't try to carry the water without PW. |

My other friend said you don't see these movies for the plot line... |

One of the sorriest movies I have seen in nearly 60 years. The level of stupid was immeasurable. The acting, if you call it that, was about as convincing as a Dindu Nuffin lie.
I am willing to dispense with reality to a reasonable point. But F7 required the repeal of the Law of Gravity. I started laughing about half way through because it was simply the stupidest movie I have ever seen. I cannot for the life of me see what the critics liked about this unless they are all 14-year-old boys who like the ass shots at the start of the film. I realize that it is a part of a genre of ridiculous violence, the obligatory black dude in it for nothing but comic relief (he failed), and female objectification. Hey, I like to look at pretty girls, too. But the opening scenes were right out of a boy's wet dream. It ends with a over-the-top tribute to Walker that went on and on. I am sure he was a nice guy. He was also an actor. He didn't cure cancer. |

In other words, what you describe has defined the franchise. |

Helping with assistance for hurricane impacts on families both here in the states and overseas, random acts of kindness, all sorts of stuff. He wasn't just an actor, he was a cool dude. If everyone in Hollywood followed his footsteps our country would be a lot different. |

The fact that it's earned over a BILLION dollars already means a couple of things.
1. There most definitely will be at least one more film in the series. 2. The film industry will abandon other genres trying to copy this financial success. The Chinese love it. I watched the first one, on television, and thought it was meh. It was a car chase-action, kid's movie. Did they take it another direction as the series progressed? |
|
I like the first one in a strange way, I watch it ever time I see its on. I don't know what it is about it, but it just makes me happy.
Second one sucked I thought. The Tokyo Drift one
Other than that I've seen the one where they stop the tank of the freeway. I was surprised to see the reviews are so positive for the most recent one. I can't wait to catch it on On Demand. |

It's sad that he died, but I wasn't distraught over it, in all honesty he was a mediocre actor, and the only fast and furious title that were any good with him was really because vid diesel, vin diesel is the fast and furious franchise not Paul walker, not by a long shot. |
| I only saw the film because my buddies 11 yr old begged me to go with him and his father. I stopped watching after F&F2 because the story lines are to far fetched. This one takes the cake for shit that could never happen. I did fall asleep for the first time ever durning a movie! I do think the ending was very good tho. IMO it's a waste of $5 and time. |

I Enjoy the series for the most part. 1,4,5, and 6. Number 2 was meh and i didn't bother with 3. I would agree Vin Diesel is the one carrying the series and not Paul Walker. I'm sure a few more with Vin Diesel and other well known actors would do well. I will probably enjoy 7 when it hits redbox. |

Tokyo Drift came out in '06 but was supposed to be the movie after 6 and before 7. 2 fast was horrible. 4,5,6 and 7 are the best of the series. Less ricey bullshit, more decent cars and bikes. |

Walker died pretending he was in one of his movies on a public road. No fucks given, he's just like every dip shit in a sports car thinking they can drive how ever they want.
If he wouldn't have driven like an ass on public streets, he wouldn't have killed himself. I will probably see the movie because I have seen the rest. But making him out to be a hero like some people have is dumb. I will skip the tribute at the end and beat the crowd out the door. Did you know Paul Walker had Dandruff? They found his head and shoulders in the dashboard. |

The Paul Walker tribute at the end was sad.
Maybe they didn't want to draw attention to something now buried?
