Two years ago Cope's (along with 44mag.com and Exile Machine) was sued by the City of San Francisco for shipping LEGAL magazine rebuild kits to subjects of said city. When the suit was settled, each company had to pay undisclosed damages. How many $35 Tapco lowers would Cope's need to sell to cover the cost of legal fees, etc. for another lawsuit? Not worth it. | I bought three. I built one the lowers. The rear pin won't quite line up with the upper. I've tried two different uppers and both uppers don't quite line up. The rear pushpin will not push in. There is also a very slight gap between the upper and lower receiver. I emailed Copes and so far with no response. |

Also these are all keyhole forged What is keyhole forged mean? Something on the lower is causing the upper not to fully seat on the lower. The gap between the upper and lower is very small. I can get the front push pin to line up and push in. The rear push pin won't push in at all. |

With LAR making these, in my opinion I would assume the upper is out of spec, not the LAR machined lower - irregardless of tapco on the side. |
