I see these threads about some guys here that just seem to have bottomless pockets. Just curious what everyone here does for work. Also feel like it would be a good way to see just how diverse this forum really is.
Myself, i am an aircraft mechanic for my main job. Security officer 2 nights a week for my toy fund. |

Small business owner. My company originally did general architecture and architectural visualizations, now we design curtain wall systems. We are hoping to expand into fabricating curtain wall systems shortly.
Edit: I can usually buy common stuff under a grand on a whim. Expensive stuff ($2K+) I usually have to pool my mad money for. My current firearms related projects are an 870 SBS (pending a form 1), a Benelli M4 (pending a form 3), A Surefire SOCOM 556 can (pending form 4), a CZ Skorpion (pending form 1) and a few other odds and ends. I'm debating buying more optics, but there is nothing that really catches my fancy right now. Edit: I should probably footnote the above with 'I have no kids, my car is 8 years old and paid for, my house is small and my wife works (and makes) just as much as I do'. Firearms are my only "hobby" outside of video games (which are comparatively cheap). |

Commercial HVAC service technician. Recently divorced. Don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. If it weren't for my best friend I don't know where I'd be living. Sorry to hear that man. At least you're in a good industry and got at least one good friend. Only way to go is up. |
| Manage a medium-sized pool service company in central Texas (see busy year-round). I do okay, but my toys are usually a combination of saving my allowance for months, birthday, anniversary, father's day & Christmas all rolled into one. The only thing I have on credit is my house and I'd like to keep it that way. |
