SEC has never been a basketball conference except for UK. UK getting to the Final Four ain't exactly a disgrace.

Had a feeling it would go to WI, SEC ain't what it used to be. Calipari is a class act. Gives a damn about his players. SEC has never been a basketball conference except for UK. UK getting to the Final Four ain't exactly a disgrace.

Except for Florida. SEC is football, and UK is mostly a joke when that time of year happens. Quoted:

Florida may have had a decent year or two in basketball, but they too are mainly a football school. |

Woot! Unreal. I had a feeling, but wow. I must say, I listened to the post game interview of the Kentucky coach, and I have to say he seems like a class act. He's anti-gun and has been quoted as such in the media following Sandy Hook. Our extremely pro-gun state conveniently forgot or didn't care because he wins games. I really can't get too into it since most if not all of the players are recruits from out of state and I did not attend UK. I also don't have cable and couldn't watch the game if I wanted to. People around here go nuts over the stuff though. It would have been cool if they would have went undefeated just for the historical aspect of it though. But hey good for Wisconsin. |

I didn't know about his gun stance...but who cares really...except on a personal level. Not like he can take your freedoms. I just happened to be impressed with him as a leader and coach after hearing his speech. One thing that I think is REALLY cool about this team, is how many Wisconsin boys are on it! |

Great game. The refs tried to give it to Kentucky. Wisconsin played till the end. You are high as hell. No call on a shot clock violation followed by a shooting foul call and the UK defender never touched the guy. You either watched a different game or you're high. |

On the other hand, there was the charge by the UK player that was called as a foul on the UW player, and that obvious flagrant foul that they didn't call at all. No matter, we won it on the floor. Can't wait for Monday night!!! |

It was almost comical that when KY would mount one of their 'comebacks" throughout this game, it was due to multiple bad calls that favored them. When WI would pull away again, it was due to maybe a couple of minor makeup calls and then fair calls that allowed the better team to win. The zebras played a big part, no doubt, but they were certainly not in the bag for WI. KY showed their true colors in the post game interviews. Well...BYE! |

Quoted: You might want to ask Memphis and UMass if he's a class act. Quoted: Quoted: Had a feeling it would go to WI, SEC ain't what it used to be. Calipari is a class act.
