What's wrong with the Navy?  I was in the Department of the Navy.  Of course, it was the Men's Department though.

I'd blame whoever taught him how to drive.

I would tell him to enjoy high school more, not worry about college classes as a sophomore. There is plenty of time to kill the college grades.

A self-driven guy will stay driven. A burnt out guy will spin his wheels.

Ask me how I know. Getting to medical school after undergrad took nearly an extra 7 years because of burnout. Burnout that started with my overachieving, AP slaughtering, IB program killing, college class taking, no fun having, ass in HS.

Sorry about the car .

My son had two fender benders shortly after receiving his drivers license. We have a driving contract that requires him to pay the insurance deductibles and any increase in rates. He got a part-time job working at our local gun club and has reimbursed every penny, $1,000 total. He is now a much more careful driver.

So, how many questions are you going to answer tonight?  What is the story of Big Pony's avatar?

On another note, my son won't be driving for another 14 years.  But, when my brother got his license, he took my car out about a week after doing so.  I was 18 at the time and he was 16.  Totaled it the first time he had it out and a week after getting his license.  I got a new car out of it so I ain't even mad.

A brick mailbox?

You in Texas?

I grew up there, been all over this country, and it's still the only place I've ever seen 1000 lbs of brick and mortar surrounding 5 lbs of sheet metal mailbox.
