My son...the Freshman high school student. My son...the straight A student. My son...ranked 10 in a class of over 500. My son...already planning his fast track into taking college classes as a Sophomore high school student. My son...when asked to back his mother's vehicle out of the driveway...hits the mailbox. a friggin' brick mailbox. |

I was in the Department of the Navy. Of course, it was the Men's Department though.

I would tell him to enjoy high school more, not worry about college classes as a sophomore. There is plenty of time to kill the college grades.
A self-driven guy will stay driven. A burnt out guy will spin his wheels. Ask me how I know. Getting to medical school after undergrad took nearly an extra 7 years because of burnout. Burnout that started with my overachieving, AP slaughtering, IB program killing, college class taking, no fun having, ass in HS. Sorry about the car .

We have a driving contract that requires him to pay the insurance deductibles and any increase in rates. He got a part-time job working at our local gun club and has reimbursed every penny, $1,000 total. He is now a much more careful driver. |

So, how many questions are you going to answer tonight? What is the story of Big Pony's avatar?
On another note, my son won't be driving for another 14 years. But, when my brother got his license, he took my car out about a week after doing so. I was 18 at the time and he was 16. Totaled it the first time he had it out and a week after getting his license. I got a new car out of it so I ain't even mad. |

Seems like he should brush up on some brick laying skills. As wells as bodywork and automotive painting skills. Nawww...Reno will take his son out driving and demonstrate brake checking, that should take care of the body work. |
