decided to take this info off of arf because people are butt hurt about my situation that is all thank you. |

When you saw his cord in your power receptacle you should have unplugged it, cut the end off, threw it over your fence or wherever it came from and went back inside. I see I've been beaten to that one. You should also take them a bill for having your internet fixed. |

Quoted: Next time unplug cord. Cut said cord. Throw said cut cord back in the general direction in which it originates from. |

Landlord probably owns whatever property they're working on. This here is one big reason to own instead of rent. Being a lowly tenant means: A) cops care less since you're not really the one in charge of your building, B) you're not really the one in charge of your building, and shit rolls downhill son. |
|
Tell the landlord that if the few bucks is no big deal that he should pay for it. eta I used to work 48 hr shifts. I come home one morning to find a hose running from my bib to my neighbor's remodel where the stucco guys are working. I was pissed. Shut off the water and waited at the bib for a response. Two workers came running over, saw me and turned around. Got the foreman out there and he was also pissed. At his workers, probably for getting caught. I was gone for two full days, who knows how much water they used. Long story short, people are assholes. |

I doubt they will be back like i said they told their boss they are scared of me LOL. It was the owner of the company who said it's only a few bucks. He would not apologize or even say what they did was wrong (he also said you stopped the job your costing me money.) I replied if his workers had not stolen my power non of this would of happened. Goodness people are crazy these days Never had anything happen like this before but if he pushes my landlords more you bet ill call a news company and let the whole town know who not to use for construction. The owner tried to make me the bad guy. |

I've done it. Seem's they didn't come to work prepared, fuck'em btw, I work construction, people should always ask first. Quoted:

Turn your breaker off to that outlet. problem solved. I've done it. Seem's they didn't come to work prepared, fuck'em btw, I work construction, people should always ask first. You're damn right. If one of my guys did this they'd have a rough fucking week

Quoted: You think you're the first guy construction has milked off of? 13ers The local news COULDN'T care less. Had the owner apologized and been cool i would of let it go but threatening my landlords to try to get me in trouble is beyond f'ed up. |

Perhaps turning off the circuit breaker to the outside socket without telling anybody would have been a better solution. Did somewhat similar when my neighbor's house builders decided to hook up to my water spigot outside. Noticed a drop in pressure, went outside and saw they'd hooked up. Went downstairs and shut off the water without saying anything. Enjoyed the race to find extra hoses to hook up to neighbors spigot on his detached garage which is what they should have done to begin with. |

I think the officer is wrong. It is not a civil mater as there is no contractural relationship between you and the construction company. The construction company is stealing your energy. I wonder what the officers response would have been if you were to go out to his patrol car and siphon gas out of it and put it into your car?
I would take your complaint up the food chain. |

I have pics of the plug in the socked but like i said the cop was less then helpful i think he wanted to go do anything else at that time haha. 220 would be awesomely fun but they will not be back until the owner of my unit comes so that might not be the best idea haha. I do have lots of evidence like the cox cable guy who was telling me how someone cut the internet chord and then rolled it up. I as charged like 45 bucks to get it re put in. I also have everything written down with dates and times however the last thing i need right now is court dates and stress. |

Women are, obviously, not the only drama queens among us. Do men no longer deal with problems without involving third parties, the police, and the Internet?
If we were allowed to just shoot thieves, like in the good old days ... I'd be just fine with that. But, we're not. |

this... but i would have unplugged, cut it at edge of my rented property and kept the part from my property to the plug. Quoted:

I could see this happening over anything positive. |

Plus, the building should have an outlet dedicated to building maintenance just for this reason. They should have plugged into the laundry room or something like that. Were these workers undocumented guest workers"? They seem to think everything is free for the taking. |
