I want a 9mm revolver DA/SA.
Is there such a beast that can run 9mm, .38, & .357mag? If so, who? If not, what are my options? |
|
S&W recently brought one out. 9mm only. Don't think it'll do 38- 357 because of the tapered case.
986 and 929 I think charter might have one, and I believe Taurus used to. IIRC Ruger used to have an Sp101 in 9mm |

In order to shoot both 9mm and 357/38, you are going to need two cylinders. I don't know of a DA revolver that does that, but Ruger has a Blackhawk that will.![]() |

That's it! |

This would would do it. But at $4000+ though. Like the ad says, runs anything from .380 to .357. Great scrapers gun, says it can fire over 100 different calibers. How does it do that? Seems like a good SHTF gun too. |

There are little spring tabs on the ejector that press against the cartridge. It looks pretty simple. Quoted:

| On our first trip to Paris, back in 2009, I saw several police officers there carrying Ruger Speed-Six (or Security Six) revolvers chambered in 9MM. I don't remember if they were Paris Municipal Police, French National Police, or Gendarmes, but I do remember the revolvers. |
