The hotel food is insanely expensive. $18 cheeseburgers, $6 Cokes, etc. We always ate at restaurants in town, where the food prices are pretty much the same as you'll find at a decent place in the States and the beer was even cheaper. Especially if you find a little 'hole in the wall' place off the tourist track. Or go to a local market and buy your own sandwich/snack foods. For us, the hotel was just a place to sleep and hang out by the pool. |
