The only time that I have witnessed someone contemplating buying that, the person admitted to being a felon and saying that he couldn't own a real shotgun...
I think a wiffel bat would be equally as persuasive to an armed intruder.

If you're doing Home Defense, less lethal means you're probably doing it wrong.
