I just ran into a cartload of about 125 pounds of #9 shot.
I don't reload for shotguns and plan on getting rid of it. I use #6 for rabbits, squirrels and pheasant. Who uses #9? What for? |

Wrong alloy. It has trace additions of certain elements to increase surface tension so when the molten lead is dribbled, it forms nice spheres which solidify as they are falling through the tower.
