I'm trying to find a device that will permit me to connect my computer monitor and my TV to the single HDMI output on my Mac Mini.  I would use the monitor for normal internet browsing and the TV when streaming movies via the internet.  Most devices I see on Amazon have mixed reviews.

Have any of you used anything that would work for what I'm trying to do?

Thanks for any input.

Glad to know someone has working HDMI port on their Mac Mini.

Mine doesn't work.  Means I can't natively run dual screens.

Look on Amazon. They can be as cheap as $5.

OMG!  Reading your comment made me think of an alternative way to solve my problem!

I was thinking you could fix your problem by using your Thunderbolt port and try to find a cable with HDMI on the opposite end.

$10 bucks from Amazon.

My brain was stuck on "HDMI splitter" and you smacked some sense into me!

That's how I have my monitor connected; a Thunderbolt (really: mini-displayport) adapter from Monoprice that can output to DisplayPort, HDMI, and DVI.

Then you're probably going to need an HDMI splitter.
