I've been wearing compression sleeves and these things are just great.

What is the perceived benefit or advantage?  I really don't know.

Slept in them for about 3 years. Think they helped with recovery. I was doing a lot of mileage.

I wore them to see if they'd help with shin splints. As far as I can
tell they help. Others wear them for different reasons, runners, lower
leg troubles.



Online it looks like there is some question as to if they help or not.

Ya, I didn't know about them either. Supposedly they increase circulation and reduce swelling.



I suppose it could be a placebo effect but I will continue to wear them for a while.

I badly injured my knee in November.
I bought one and wore it for a few days.
It seemed like it helped quite a bit.
I quit wearing it because it was way too tight on my leg and I was too lazy to go buy another one. It kinda just slipped my mind. But I would buy another one if I happened to remember it when I was somewhere that had them for sale.

I didn't pay attention and bought one. Didn't realize it wasn't a pair until I got it. Tried that one out while running and could feel a difference. Bought another that night.

The one I wear now is pretty tight. The name of the sleeve is stitched in so it's imprinted into my leg for about 10 minutes after I take it off. Sort of a lame tattoo.
