On iPad, every page I open on ARFCOM , the ads on the site force close my browser and take me to the Apple App Store to try and get me to download some damn app. Is this a website issue or something wrong on my iPad?

You know, if it wasn't money, they could turn it off.

They can also just stop this shit, until they have a fix.

Every "pop' gives money. So, there you go. User satisfaction vs leveraging hit counts.

Where does the company stand? NOT we'll stop until we figure it out. We'll let it go until the tech support gets back to us..

ARFCOM is a business. They want more money.

Has nothing to due with membership.  I had the same issue as a member and then I saw the sticky.

Ever heard of malware?  Malicious apps?  Not as much of a website issue as an issue with shady apps/software installed in devices.  Hence the reason many others are not having the same issue with the same equipment.

Of course they want traffic/money.  You think they are seriously stupid enough to alienate their monetary base?  I really doubt it.

The ar15 dev guy acknowledged this flummox. They fucked up and rolled it out without a test/dev .

They can turn it off. But, they won't. Time and clicks is money yo - and this is right up there with the:

We will stop tagging your amazon links to benefit ourselves. Until, silently, it is active again... with much explanation about a new camera and how that benefits everyone.

This ain't campfire shit. This is a corporation.
