It has recently been brought to my attention that there is a supposedly delicious bag of potato chips that is apparently unobtainable to the general public. Being the cheetoh eating basement dweller that I am, I decided to scour the web, searching for the super rare snack. Has anyone tried this supposedly delicious snack? Am I missing out? Is it worth going to prison just to try these chips? |

So regular Fritos or Ruffles aren't good enough for convicted criminals?
I don't KNOW, but I heard years ago it was common to smuggle contraband (drugs mostly) into prisons in food packages. I'd bet this is some kind of contract which controls the origination of the chips so they are available but not brought in by family members. Anyone know for sure? |

Thunderchips Vinegar and salt by Lance. They pretty much disappeared overnight a few years back. I really miss them.
I dont even know if Humpty dumpty is still a chip brand, but also good salt and vinegar chips. Habanero Doritos we good. My current go to is Zapps kettle cooked salt and vinegar. A bag will usually make your tongue peel the next day |

Let me know what he says. I was told these basically have every seasoning you can imagine, bbq, salt&vin, ranch, salsa verde, jalapeno, etc... all thrown in together. I wonder if I can head to my local jail and visit a random inmate just to try to get my hands on a bag. Are you allowed to sneak things OUT of a jail? If not, any advice on how to keester a bag of chips? Quoted:

I'm going to ask my buddy who's a prison guard... To accommodate a bag of chips you are probably going to need to stretch your prison purse out. Start with something comfortable then work your way up in size until you can fit a catcher's mit in there. |

You need to go north of the Mason Dixon line for proper potato chips. The Commonwealth Snack Foods Purity Act of 1931 dictates that "potato" chips" must have 3 ingredients, and ONLY those ingredients: potatoes, lard, and salt. All other snack foods made with potatoes are known as "That shit we manufacture for export to other states, those fucking barbarians."
True story. |

"In a quest to find these potato chips, I called the manufacturer directly. I spoke to an anonymous operator, at Keefe Commissary Network, who informed me that the chips are not sold to anyone outside of a correctional institution."
