I have just reached my 2000.00 sending limit on Paypal. In order to still send money I have to become verified and provide them with my bank account information. They say it is for security reasons but I am a little apprehensive to give out my bank account information. I sent 2000.00 through Paypal without a problem and without them having my bank account number so I just don't understand why they need it now. What are some of your feelings about this and has anyone had any problems by giving out their account info?
Thanks.

My suggestion is open another checking account solely for PP use and never leave money in it. If you do and there are any issues they can freeze the money in your account.

I've never had any problems with PayPal and my bank account but I'm set up like CerebralAssassin says with a spepreate bank account just for PayPal and gun stuff. All my Ebay money & gun money goes in that account so the wifey can't say anything when I come home with a new gun.

That is an excellent idea. Why didn't I think of that? Do most banks let you maintain a checking account without carrying a balance? I will check with my bank on Monday. I still can't figure out why Paypal wants your bank info but if that's the rules, thats the rules.
Thanks guys for the advice.

Most banks will charge you a fee if your balance falls below a certain amount
