I don't count my post really.
I didn't post on 223 or 556 ect. There was a thread that kind of shocked me recently over a disount being offered to some vets but not all. I served before 911 so I was excluded but I'm not in the market for Acogs so no big deal to me other then the snub. What shocked me was the attitude and name calling that happened between service members here. GD doesn't usually surprise me much anymore but I have to say this floored me. I held off making this post till now.. No matter when you served sacrifices occur in every war. So for all who served peace time, war time, wherever or wherever thank you: To those that served before us. " />
To the ones that serve now " />
To those that will serve " />
For those who gave the most. " />

Thank you for your post. And another 5000 more to come bro! I once got trampled on because I was in the army for a very short time-high frequency loss. I was curious if I was a veteran after my 6 year old asked. http://www.americanwarlibrary.com/whatvet.htm In my research, I AM A VETERAN but not eligible for Veteran services/benefits. The US government has a very blanked definition of what a Veteran is. A friend put it this way, you had good intentions and said the OATH and agreeing to die for your country, than YOU ARE A VETERAN in one sense. Of course I WOULD NEVER EQUIVOCATE my experience of basics and out on a medical with a war time veteran. Thank you!! |
