Off and on, and like right now, arf slows to a crawl.  Has there been DDoS attacks?  I use JRS to get around.

A bit spotty here.  

Probably due to TW cable's internet which seems affected by the cold weather sometimes.

I coaxed my airport router to re-aquire name servers.  Flushed DNS cache (mavericks only---- sudo discoveryutil mdnsflushcache). ISP (MTA) still has slow arf at times.  Personal hotspot (ATT) doesn't seem to.
