I just started a new a job last month so my insurance hasn't kicked in yet. Should I wait until my insurance starts up before I file my taxes? If I do it before will I get hit with that penalty bullshit? I don't get much back anyway but still.

I had insurance all of last year until the end of December

My understanding is if you're between job insurances you either need

-Cobra
-Obabacare
-exemption

Another unintended consequence of the law...

My understanding is that a financial hardship can be proved with a past due utility bill.
