I'm a long time call of duty fan. all I play. Each game has been getting worse lately. Connection and to halo like. The problem is I can't find anything else I like. Don't like battlefield (To big of maps and slow play). Is there anything out there not fictional, halo, or stupid. I play online only.

COD games are fun but like you said basically all the same after a while.

| Meh, Battlefield has small modes that are fast-paced if that's your thing (Team DM, Squad DM, Chain Link, Domination). Of course, after BF4's debacle of a release, I don't have a lot of faith in a smooth future game release, and I can't see BF4 staying super popular for more than a few more months. |

Got a decent PC? Pick up the ARMA series there is different "game modes" you can play online ranging. I gave up on Cod after the first Black Ops, got into Battlefield when the third one came out but left that when they started adding the gimmicky crap to the online, used to mainly play the "Rush" mode though seemed better to have an actual objective rather then just running around killing people to who see who gets the highest score. Never have played Battlefield 4 so can't say what that's like. I've pretty much gave up on the FPS genre altogether and would rather play a game that I'm not getting pissed at every 10 seconds for one reason or another. |

Arma 3 King of The Hill Master race PC users need only apply It's kind of like COD meets Battlefield. Huge map, but 3 factions fight to control a city (small AO on a huge map). Teamwork helps a ton. Game mode includes infantry, various cars, armored vehicles, armed armored vehicles, tanks, IFVs, armored AA, transport/attack/gunship helicopters, and AA and CAS jets. Weapons include various types of rifles, machine guns and SMGS in various calibers, pistols, AA/AT/AP/HE Rocket launchers. You can have up to 3 perks with different abilities. You must buy the weapons, vehicles and perks with the money you accrue from being in the AO, killing people/vehicles and winning. |

Ran like piss anyway (and yes my system is good) The only time I click on Arma 3 icon is when I've had a few drinks. The first time I couldn't even fucking figure out how to spawn. Second time I spawned with a phantom pistol and bots running back and forth doing nothing.... I always end up closing it and firing up BF4. OP needs to actually explore the game options on BF4. Small, fast maps are possible and popular. The fact that it took you this long to get sick of CoD will likely mean you won't like anything but old CoD games though. Sorry OP. |

Battlefield 3 & 4 isn't bad, if you stick with the 2 or 3 small infantry only maps like Metro and Locker. |

I bought CS:GO seriously hoping they had upgraded the combat system, only to find CS1.6 repackaged yet again with new graphics. Buy Insurgency from Steam, and you'll most likely love it. It's (somewhat) fast paced, infantry only, and as close to realistic FPS, as you are going to find outside of Arma. |

If you want the most competitive FPS, CS:GO is where you want to be. If you want slightly more realistic, with more game mechanics, Insurgency. If you want an incredibly in-depth game with lots of features and mechanics, ARMA 3. |
