I actually visited my personal hell one time a couple of years ago.
I was working as a demo driver for a large bicycle company, and visited one of our dealers on Long Island. It was a very high end triathlon shop, huge showroom, beautiful building, great space. High end, fancy shop. I was led downstairs, to an airless, small, dark basement, where the service area was located. Upon entering that pit of despair, I recoiled in horror........the very idea...the thought...of being locked in a windowless concrete box and working on tri bikes all day, every day..... When I die, if there is a hell and I got to it, that will be my fate. I will be trapped in a box, forced to work on tri bikes....for all eternity. |
