I Ned some help from people who know xbox. My 9year old son has been saying he wants xbox 360 for the last year since his friends have it and he wants to play in multiple player games like minecraft with them. His grandmother bought Xbox one. will he be able to play the same games and with his friends who use xbox 360? |

Short answer: NO. I'm stuck in that situation right now. I'm on a 360 and EVERYONE on my friends list is on the One. Been a lot of lonely nights on destiny.
That's just because you're wandering around trying to find Spinmetal to upgrade a fucking rifle and the game is dropping one with each harvest instead of two... |

It's a rough Christmas for a lot of folks here. XBOX 360 is still very, very popular with players, and games are cheap. Still very, very playable. My daughter works at Gamestop, and they sell a bunch of these--more than the XBOX One.
If you do get your son a 360, get him a nice set of wireless headphones with a mic. Preferably rechargeable. |

So I see you have been in the same situation!
