Does a tablet or phone need something buit in to it for wireless charging, I have a cheap tablet the port has went bad on.

Is there something you can add on ?

It has to have the coils in the actual device to work.

Cost me less than 50 bucks to replace a charging port on my iPhone.

There are add ons out there, but not available for every device.  Just google the name of your device and wireless charging and if there is an option, you'll find it.

Some replace the battery and cover, others are cases the require a functioning charging port.

Just hold it near an electrical outlet, it'll charge right up.

Yes, but you have to download the latest firmware first.

It depends on the model of the tablet, but probably not if its a cheap one.

There are add-on kits that connect through the charging port but that won't help you if your port is bad.

Put your phone in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds...it will charge the battery quickly.

Its a 7 inch Hisense that was 95 bucks. I guess I could check, but, I might as well get a new one.

I hate micro USB. Too fragile. I wish they would have went with mini usb as the standard. Maybe not since everyone is trying to make things thin as possible,

Open it up,  carefully solder the stripped leads from a USB cable to the  power port pads, and hang the resulting USB cable out  from the charging port.
