She's lying here on the ground with me panting because she can't get comfortable. Her legs don't work anymore...i have to carry her outside to relieve herself.

Last Sunday was the family's "big" Thanksgiving dinner. I was working in Las Vegas so hit the road as soon as I could to get home. I was only 10 miles from home when I got the phone call that everybody was leaving

We had another Thanksgiving dinner yesterday with a smaller part of the family. I'm "on call" this week. As we're heading to my sister's house the phone rings....a call out. It's a 911 system that's down so I have to take it. I drove over two hours to get there and just as I'm pulling into the parking lot the phone rings again. It's the NOC. The problem rectified itself. "Go home" they said, "Happy Thanksgiving". FUCK! Missed Thanksgiving again.

I have been awake for 39 hours, staring at a well head and hoping someone else's shit breaks so I can take a nap. I have made 2300 bucks in that time frame though, I really want to go home and eat leftover ham/bang my wife.

Wife and I are at her folKS house for the turkey. This is the second night in a row or 20 month old boy has woken up multiple times crying without stopping for 15 minutes at a time. I really wish we knew what was bothering him.
