Looks like they came out with 4 new single stack models. All of them come with a 9mm conversion kit.

| The only time I have heard of the TCM is in gun rags. Is it really available? Seems like a cool alternative to the .22mag for people who may be recoil sensitive but want a more reliably handgun than what your semi auto rimfires have to offer, but don't want to spend the money on a 5.7. |

Mine is the double stack and it is an impressive little cartridge. No recoil to speak of and very accurate. I've killed racoons, opossums and 3 coyotes with it. (all the 'yotes were inside 75 yards when shot and 2 were DRT and the third ran about 40 yards before dropping.)
I lucked into about 1000 rounds of ammo at a local shop and bought dies and more ammo off CL. I'm very happy with it. This is my third TCM (sold the others to friends) and I will probably try out the single stack for shits 'n giggles. I'm also getting ready to build a bolt rifle in .22 TCM to try out. |

They're out there. In fact they seem to be the only double stack RIAs I can find anymore. |

Quoted: Anyone making a Glock bbl for it yet? The shop I work at has a glock converted for it, the bad part about it is, it needs a different type of .22 TCM ammo because of the design of the glock magazine. The normal rounds wont fit, so the rounds for the glock basically look like someone loaded the bullet backwards into the case. It has been in the shop for a while now. We have sold quite a few of the .22 TCM pistols from Rock Island here, and have a good deal of ammo, then again we also have Rock Island right up there street here in Pahrump NV |
The .22 TCM has almost no recoil. Although, considering that the example I shot (Big Shots in Lincoln, NE) was a double stack it's not really a surprise. I will say it could certainly use a flash hider, I'm not kidding either!
It was a lot of fun to shoot, and I would buy one if I had "toy" money that's for sure but right now I do not. |

Be interesting to see what it would do w/ an 8" or 10" bbl. |

Considering it has more case capacity than 5.7x28, it should be superior. Quoted:

And ballistically, the TCM cartridge has a lot of potential. I can see loadings for it comparing favorably with 5.7 and 4.6mm. Considering it has more case capacity than 5.7x28, it should be superior. Are the pressures similar? |

With much of the US made .22TCM getting 40Gr near 2,000fps, it seems to already have 5.7x28mm beat. The imported .22TCM seems to be a bit weaker. |

Who is making it in the U.S.? If you look at Armscor .22TCM ammo, there are two flavors. In one of the box styles is ammo actually made by Armscor and imported to the US. In the other box style (more common it seems) is ammo made in the US for Armscor. The American flavor seems to be quite a bit hotter. Breaks 2,000 from the 5". |
