I'm sure everyone appreciates the work these Doctors perform for the needy and poor. But this latest Doctor down with Ebola makes the 4th one from that organization to bring back a pandemic disease back to America.

| I made one donation to them and got harassed constantly to give more. I asked that they stop contacting me and they kept coming for more. I finally had to get rude on social media before they finally stopped. Its a good cause but I don't support organizations that do that. Even the NRA leaves me alone after I asked to be put on the do not contact list. |

There is no such thing as a "Voluntary" quarantine. It's either monitored and enforced by an entity that can ensure you are removed from the population until found to be clear, or, it's theater. Anybody who says different is an idiot, and should be slapped with a running chainsaw.
A responsible government would impose rules that say, "Hey, ya know... If you are trying to enter our country from a hot zone, or carry a passport from the hot zone, guess what??? You get to spend a month in isolation before you board that plane/boat/camel and enter our territory." All the other crappy third-world nations in the Americas have already done that with their borders, why haven't we? Oh ya... We don't want to "stigmatize" anyone who might be carrying a LEVEL FOUR PATHOGEN into our country. Clown shoes. Clown shoes all around. |
