| Well it does seem to be popular with everyone from bird hunters to Alaskan and African game guides as well as people busting door hinges and clearing rooms. Shotguns tended to be very popular with early settlers too. You can't deny it's versatility and yeah, not much says fook you like an ounce of lead traveling at over 1700fps. I don't have pics and I don't care if somebody calls me a liar, but I've got a Benelli SuperNova with a red dot on top that will shoot cloverleaf groups at 50yds with 1oz slugs. The barrel is NOT rifled! I call it "Ol' Squatch Buster" and it hits like the fist of an angry god. If I shoot a Yeti in the chest with it the first thing to hit the ground will be his shoulder blades. |
