However, once vaccinated for a particular flu strain, does that vaccination last a lifetime? So, does that mean that if you get a flu shot each year you are building your immunity to multiple strains of the flu? |

Multiple year flu shots have same strain a lot of times, whatever's common. You do build up over time but eventually wears off if not maintained. Tis why older folks 65+ sometime get the STRONG dose because body gets used to it at a certain point. |

I will get mine on the 21st, when they give them at work. Doubt I would bother if I had to actually drive some where to get one.
The price has dropped since last year? Seems a bit odd. Only once did a flu shot make me feel bad. Just in case, I will wait until work is over. Last time I had the flu was in the 90s. Flu is no fun if you live alone. I survived, but I didn't accomplish much. |
