Haven't seen a thread on our pooches in a while, so I figure I'll start off with my two little morons.  Since last you heard (after the snail bait and tearing up a few things) they've been ok.  Mostly.

Stumpy, my bigger dog (51# now...you'd never guess if you saw him, though...) decided to sneak some Vegatable oil the other day without permission.  Drank about 2 cups.  it was leaking out both ends, yuck.  He ralphed 4 times.  Oil is not a nice thing to see coming up or leaking out the rear.

He'll live, of course...wasn't poisonous, just disgusting.  As usual.

The little dog, Bullitt, i've decided he's breed with tasmanian devil.  He has limitless energy, and now that it's raining and his out door play is limited, he seems to be gaining energy.  Which he takes out on trash and other things.  or, one day...coffee grinds......

But he's still a cutie.  Available for daily rental for those of ya needing some help with a conversation starter. [:)]

They're still a loving pair.  Odd, but cool.

Heh, that's a common mistake [:)]  From m-w.com:

HAHAHA! 2 cups of vegatable oil! Man, that dog is gonna be regular for a week!

Had a cat with hairballs, the vet told me to put fish oil in the food till kitty passed the hairball. Told me to increase the amount by a tablespoon a day till kitty had a "movement". After two more days of kitty puking up hairballs I said "screw it" and dumped a half a cup in her food.
Half an hour later kitty was yowling in the sand box with the worst case of the runs I ever saw.
My wife threatened to put fish oil in my food as a payback.

Does Stumpy still try to eat anyone he doesn't know?

I got a new puppy late last week.  Here are some of the pics...

He's some type of a hound... but he has so much extra skin you would think he's mixed with a sharpei.

Jasmine
19 month old Rott we got from a Rotty Rescue.

We take her to the dog park and watch her kick all the other dogs asses....

One owner to me: Your dog doesn't chase balls...?

Me: No, my dog chases dogs that chase balls!

I once had a chow/lab mix that had a dry skin/allergy problem.  He was always scratching and had dandruff bad.

The vet told me to give him 1/4 cup of canola oil each day.

At first he didnt want to eat his food with the oil on it, but after a couple weeks he wouldnt eat until his food had been 'greased' up.  He would just lay there on the floor by the bowl and stare at me til I put oil on the food.  Made my ass goto the grocery store at midnight one night when I ran out of oil.  Tell you what buying a gallon of canola oil at midnight gets you some strange looks.

The oil did fix him right up though.

Alright, you asked for it.  We found him when he was a 27lb, very sick puppy.  Now he's my 90lb, healthy best friend.  Puppy pics first:

LOL Troy.  That's what I wake up to every morning.  His name is Bowie, but I kinda wish we had named him Manson.

It wasn't my call...my wife named him.

Bastard!

Yes, they certainly would be.

Please ensure you obey the leash laws - the dogs you save will be mine (or yours if I'm carrying)

I have two English Springer Spaniels. The males name is Bailey and female is Molly. I had to give the English dogs Irish names. They love fish and will spend hours watching the goldfish swimming around.
