I just upgraded from Windows 98 SE to Windows 2000 Professional, now what?

I just took a MCSE class on this last semester, and decided that since I had the disk and all, to just go for it.

99% should run fine. you will also crash 1/3 less. that means only 2-3 reboots per day!

Windows..... the worlds only virus people actually pay to get.

I am known as the master at crashing my computer. It is not that I don't know anything, it is just that I like to play with files and parts that I am not supposed to. I guess it is how I have learned so much about these things. I went from crashing 4-5 times a week with 98 to 2-3 times a year with 2000 Professional. I have since upgraded to XP, have had it about 4 months, and have no problems with it either.

The upgrade part wasnt the best choice.
When you figure this out, go with a full clean install or maybe a dual boot with 2000 AND 98 Its the best of both worlds!

2000=Crash-o-Matic...What a fuster cluck.  Now that you shot yourself in the foot, get XP which is real stable.

Next time ask 1st.[devil]

All of my games and various programs work. It seems to be faster and more stable too.
