We have a network at the office and we would like to set up the server to fax from our workstations. We don't want to hang out at the fax machine. Is there a program out there that you can install on the existing server, fax from the desktop, and print the transaction report from each desktop printer? We have Winfax Pro 10 loaded on our machines.I know Winfax Pro 10 has a client/host capability, but does it meet the parameters of using the existing server and desktop transaction printing. Thanks for your help. Rick |

http://www.gfi.com/ I installed this at work and it works pretty well. Put modem in the server and install the software. It creates a directory on the server and you set up accounts for all of the people that you want to use it. Go to the individual machines and the fax software installs just like a print driver. We need to have a paperwork trail so I have mine set up so that when the fax is successfully completed a copy of the fax is printed out at the secretaries desk and then she files it. You can set it up to do reports etc. We have the server/smtp verion. |
