For some reason I have been liking the Ford Taurus Limited lately... What does GD have to say about them?
Unfortunately the SHO is not an option... |

AWD is expensive, and IMHO, not worth the mileage drop. For the 10 days a year that I truly need it, I'll just drive my Suburban. I test drove a 2015 SEL yesterday. Biggest gripe is the wide center console that eats into your right leg's space. I'm definitely getting the sunroof - the high belt line and gunslit windows make the interior a bit claustrophobic. The 3.5 v-6 and the 6-speed are a good match. The steering is a bit on the heavy side, but it has good on-center feel. It's a large car, so don't expect it to handle like a Miata, but it does handle curves with minimal body roll. Body is bank-vault tight. If you're looking at the limited, you might as well go all the way for the SHO. I'll be ordering an SEL in the next month or so. |

I am buying a year old car... Just don't want to drop the coin on the SHO. It will mostly be for work lots of highway driving in FL. Yeah I hear ya. I test drive the police version and was very impressed with it. I was very tempted to buy an SHO after that. But I got a 12' CTS-V now. I still would love to own an SHO still. It puts the power down perfectly. I hope ford adds more hp to it though. |

You must like understeer. |

Those SCCA rallies I drove in my younger years were strictly straight line events. ![]() I said it didn't have much body roll. How does that equate with cornering? It's a fucking Taurus, not a Corvette or Ferrari, and it's FWD. Of course it's going to understeer. In fact, it probably plows better than an F350 with a Boss on it. |

I almost bought one last week, as a matter of fact.
But the fucking dealer wouldn't budge an inch from his $21K price tag (on a 2011, no less!). So, I bought an '08 Cadillac CTS from another place instead! I'd have preferred the FWD of the Taurus (and the massaging driver's seat!), but the CTS suits me just fine. Besides . . . it's a Cadillac! |

Quoted: Ford owns part of Aston Martin. Maybe not anymore. Looks like they worked together on the Fusion recently though. Quoted: Quoted: good looking front end. Surprised Aston Martin hasn't sued them yet. Ford owns part of Aston Martin. Maybe not anymore. Looks like they worked together on the Fusion recently though. |

I dont like the poor visibility and cramped interior, despite being such a large car. |
