I Have a Winchester (Green) gun safe used. During transportation the door came off the hinge thus the ball bearings were lost. Called Winchester they haven't any in stock nor do they know what size ball bearing I need. Door opens and works but it sticks and is very hard to open. If anyone has any idea about the size of the ball bearing please post. Thank you in advance.

Can you get the bearing out of the other hinge and see if there are any part numbers on it? If not... Is it hinged like a fence gate, meaning there is a hollow cup on one piece and the corresponding peg is on the other? If so, you'll need the inside diameter of the pocket and the outside diameter of the peg. Also, the depth of the pocket and whether or not there is a shoulder in the pocket to accommodate a flanged bearing. Once you've got those dimension a google search will probably get you close. edit for grammar |
