Just dropped off my concealed carry application and 20 bucks to the local gov't services building.  They ran a PICS check and said come back for your permit in 10 days.  What have your experiences been with wait time on getting your permit issued.  I live in Bucks County, PA.

For me in MN.  Dropped off on Tue. was in mail box that Saturday.  Renewals are about the same turn around only cheaper.

Took my permit about 7 business days from finger prints to in my mail box shortly after sandy hook. Different counties here take longer from what I've seen.

Lackawanna County- less than 20 minutes.
Filled out application, had my picture taken, $20, and done.
10 minutes left on the meter.

You should definitely have it within 10 days.  My original permit (about 10 years ago) took 3 days only because I applied at one of the satellite offices and they had to run it up to Doylestown for signature and bring it back.  I've heard they've been totally crushed with apps the last several months so not surprised to hear 10 days.  Renewals have taken me about 10 minutes in person at the Courthouse.  Bucks County is pretty quick and easy, definitely nothing to worry about.

77 business days and a call to my state senator's office to mention that the Indiana constitution specifically states that a permit has to be issued or denied within 60 days.  Oddly enough, I got a call from the state police liaison office the next day, and my permit the day after.

Lol no 215 tattoo, maybe if we didn't share that area code with philly.  Yeah I thought of going to Doylestown,  but I was supposed to meet a gunsmith at his shop in levittown anyway, on that note know any good local gunsmiths? Got a mauser action that I need to get checked out.

When I sought my license the state of Texas was deluged with applicants and of course the state did not have enough people to keep up with the applications.
So it took mine almost two months with probably another week and a half interruption due to some anal Austin processor that kicked my application back to me because I abbreviated my state of birth instead of writing it out in full.
Anyway from what I am now told it's much better than it was several years ago.
I need to renew mine now before December come to think of it.
